About Us

David is the Principal and President of Franvest Capital Partners. David has been actively involved in the purchase and sale of private and publicly held companies since 1990.
Dave has owned and operated numerous companies in the retail, manufacturing, software, and hospitality industries, as well as real estate developments including hotels, apartments, industrial, and townhouse developments in the US and Canada.

David was active in industry associations and boards including President of the Fitness Industry Council of Canada, IHRSA Board of Directors (2008 – 2012), Alberta Economic Development Authority (2013 – 2015) and Past President of the Edmonton chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

David and his wife Erin have four children and enjoy skiing and cycling.

Blake is actively involved in the management of the portfolio companies where today he holds the position of President at Orangetheory Fitness Canada.

Blake graduated from the University of Alberta with a Commerce degree and a major in Corporate Finance. He is a world-class curler on Team Koe where he won the both the Brier and the World Championships in 2010. Blake and his wife Lawnie have two children and together they enjoy curling and golfing.

Kelly is an Associate with Franvest involved in the organization, management and implementation of various projects and research initiatives for the portfolio companies.
Kelly is a key point of contact for the portfolio companies and assists with administration and expansion related projects. Kelly is a graduate of Macewan University with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Political Science. In her free time, Kelly enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and being outside with her dog, Abby.

Matt is an Associate and Financial Analyst at Franvest where he works on financial due diligence and modeling for the portfolio companies.
Matt has a background in investment valuations and is a level three candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst program. Matt graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in finance.

In his free time Matt enjoys golf, cycling, flag football, and analyzing advanced sports statistics.

Clayton is a financial analyst with Franvest where he works on financial due diligence, research initiatives, and modelling for portfolio companies.

Clayton is a level two candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst program. Clayton graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in finance. In his free time, Clayton enjoys cycling, running, and spending time with his wife, Nichol, and dog.
